FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I commission a frame?
Just get in touch by email or through the contact page with a short note about the piece. From there, a simple conversation will help decide on materials and finish.

What kinds of work do you frame?
Original artworks, limited edition prints, photographs, certificates, sports jerseys, medals, box frames, and other personal pieces are all welcome.

Do you offer bespoke framing?
All framing is made to measure. Nothing is off-the-shelf.

What materials are used?
Natural wood frames and archival, acid-free mount board are used throughout. A range of glass options and conservation materials are chosen to suit each piece. All materials are sourced from Glenwood Mouldings.

Can I choose the finish?
Yes. Frames can be kept natural or stained, mounts can be single or double, and different glass options are available.

Do you add titles to mounts?
Titles or details can be added to mount boards if desired.

Can you frame deep items or box frames?
Yes. Box frames are available for items such as medals, jerseys, and keepsakes. Depth is discussed at the start to ensure the piece sits well and is properly protected.

How long does framing take?
Lead times vary depending on the work and current commissions. This will always be discussed before work begins.

Do you accept studio visits?
Yes, visits are by appointment only so each piece can be given proper attention.

Do you sell framed artwork?
A small selection of framed prints and original works are available to purchase.

How much does framing cost?
Each piece is priced individually based on size, materials, and finish. Quotes are provided before work begins.
